We serve Veterans with housing, wellness, career development, and support services so that they can live the fulfilling lives they deserve. Regardless of VA eligibility, discharge status, or length of service, VLP is on a mission to serve all who served.
Because your service counts. VLP serves over 6, Veterans annually with housing, wellness, career development, and supportive services. Kept me afloat through the COVID crisis when I was laid off with a special extension to help me continue paying rent, as well as emergency food services for several months.
They also gave me furniture, food, a laptop, and several other amenities as a direct result of participation in the program. I can say I would literally have none of these things without the amazing staff at VLP. For nearly 40 years, VLP has operated with a focus on empowering Veterans to navigate the transition from service member to citizen by providing collaborative, supportive, and service-oriented expertise and resources delivered through comprehensive programs and partnerships.
VLP serves nearly 4, Veterans annually through comprehensive and holistic wellness, mental, emotional, and physical health, well-being, and safety programming and support for Veterans and their subdivisions, in pursuit of their mission of helping Veterans to reach their fullest potential in their civilian lives. Veterans Leadership Program is proud to deploy several different programs to help prevent Veteran homelessness and provide safe housing for Veterans in need of assistance.
Once Veterans have moved into Victory housing, the VLP team continues to build rapport by working alongside each Veteran to set goals, creating a budget and ultimately working towards self-sufficiency and sustainability. Shortly after moving into his new apartment, Eli successfully completed a workforce development training and is now gainfully employed!
VLP helped me a lot, they stood by me. I really appreciate them.
