Even if on paper this is not a new concept, the title offers short cutscenes to increase immersion. I have found, however, that most of the goals are quite repetitive and of little interest. It is often enough to chain together different lanes in order to activate levers to take the next step.

The scenario is divided into an episode which is in turn divided into several chapters. These often take less than an hour of play to complete. The new Marseille episode, for its part, brings a little freshness to the sometimes more often dark than otherwise universe of this title developed by the Saber Interactive team. You can, therefore, obtain equipment and talents that adapt to your playstyle. While on paper, the developers no doubt hoped to vary the fun and offer complementarity online, the choice of classes is not. Indeed, I noticed that no matter what composition of my survivor team, it was possible to win missions even while playing at a higher difficulty level.

Note that you will also gain new talents for your characters as you complete your missions. It is possible to play alone with teammates controlled by artificial intelligence or with friends online in this World War Z.
